User Access Management

This article explains how access to ems.tibo.energy is managed, and what to do if you don't have or have lost access.

Who manages access?

For corporate customers and partner organisations, access to Tibo EMS environments is managed internally — not by Tibo Energy support. Each organisation has a designated admin or point-of-contact who is responsible for controlling which users can access which environments.

This setup exists because Tibo Energy does not have visibility into the internal structure of a customer or partner organisation — we cannot determine which individuals should or should not have access to a given environment. That context lives within your organisation.

What to do if you need or lost access

If you (suddenly) cannot access ems.tibo.energy, the first step is to contact your organisation's designated internal admin — the person responsible for managing Tibo EMS user access at your company.

Your internal admin can:

  • Grant or restore access

  • Assign or update your user roles

  • Confirm whether your account is set up correctly within your organisation's access structure

If you are unsure who your internal admin is, check with your IT team, line manager, or whoever onboarded you to Tibo EMS.

How Tibo Energy support can help

Tibo Energy support can assist with account-level checks, but cannot grant environment access on behalf of a customer or partner organisation without input from that organisation's admin.

Tibo Energy support can:

  • Verify whether your user account exists in the system

  • Confirm whether the correct roles are assigned to your account

  • Identify configuration issues on the Tibo side that may be contributing to an access problem

Tibo Energy support cannot:

  • Unilaterally grant you access to environments managed under a partner or customer organisation

  • Override access decisions made by your organisation's admin

  • Determine whether you are authorised to access a given environment — that decision belongs to your organisation
